The East and the West

Description

The Eastern Dragon named Shenron or Long and the Western Dragon named Draco.

Eastern dragons are legendary creatures in Chinese mythology and folklore, with mythic counterparts among Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese dragons. In Chinese art, dragons are typically portrayed as long, scaled, serpentine creatures with four legs. In contrast to European dragons that are considered evil, Chinese dragons traditionally symbolize potent and auspicious powers, particularly control over water, rainfall, and floods. In yin and yang terminology, a dragon is yang (male) and complements a yin (female) fenghuang "Chinese phoenix".

In Western folklore, dragons are usually portrayed as evil, with the exceptions mainly appearing in modern fiction. In the modern period the dragon is typically depicted as a huge fire-breathing, scaly and horned dinosaur-like creature, with leathery wings, with four legs and a long muscular tail. It is sometimes shown with feathered wings, crests, fiery manes, and various exotic colorations. Iconically it has at last combined the Chinese dragon with the western one.

So, did you take most of the design for the western dragon from Draco, from DragonHeart... or do all western dragons really look like that-

Also, I honestly feel like if a chinese dragon was real, it'd be more like those gliding snakes. Just imagine it jumping off a mountain and gliding for a longer period of time...
